WE’RE HIRING – SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT CREATOR 🎥📱
We’re looking for someone to join the Seven Competitions team who can bring energy, creativity, personality and fresh ideas to our content.
We don't just want someone who can hold a camera and upload a TikTok. We want someone who genuinely understands social media, entertainment and what makes people stop scrolling.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Motivated & proactive – bringing ideas to us rather than waiting to be told what to do.
- Creative – coming up with weekly content plans, video concepts, hooks, challenges and new formats.
- Funny but intelligent – naturally entertaining with a good sense of humour. You don't need to swear every other word to be funny.
- Confident with the public – able to approach people and create fun, interactive games, challenges, quizzes and giveaways that people actually want to get involved with.
- Aware of viral trends – constantly watching TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other platforms, spotting what's taking off and working out how Seven can put our own spin on it.
- Good at video editing – taking ordinary footage and making it come alive through pacing, cuts, captions, sounds, effects and strong hooks.
- Organised with social media – able to post, schedule and manage content consistently across our platforms.
- Full of ideas – thinking beyond simply advertising competitions. We want entertaining content people would watch even if they'd never heard of Seven before.
- Good with presenters – helping develop ideas, directing shoots and getting the best out of different personalities on camera.
- Trustworthy, reliable and driven – massively important to us.
- Able to drive with your own transport for now.
We want someone who can eventually take real ownership of our social media and content.
That means coming in and saying:
"I've seen this trend taking off — here's how we can do our version."
"I've planned three public challenges we can film this week."
"This style of video performed well, so here's what I think we should do next."
We want to get out and about more too — street games, public challenges, funny interactions, cash giveaways, competitions and completely original ideas that can become recognisable Seven content.
You don't need to be the finished article or have years of agency experience. Personality, creativity, initiative and work ethic matter more to us.
