Vertu Mini Challenge Round 1 Review🏁
After promising Test sessions we looked for a good starting position for race one, unfortunately we occurred fuel surge issues this being said Harry’s pace was still good enough for P8 overall.
Race 1:
Harry got a great start of the line keeping with the front pack making his way up to P1 in the Rookies and 6th overall yet again this wasn’t to be as 3 cars went wheel to wheel into the final chicane causing harry to hit the curb on exit and debeading the right rear tyre simultaneously firing him across the track and into the tyre stack. DNF
Race 2:
After a long night rebuilding the front end of the car the team done an amazing job getting it ready.
Starting from the back of the grid due to the DNF Harry set his sights on point in race 2 after another rocket start he was making his way through the pack finishing P7 Overall and P4 in Rookies.
Race 3:
Starting P8 Harry once again set his sights on high points finish after a good start Harry was staying with the pack when an off caused the splitter to be slightly dislodged after a report from the Marshalls the clerk of the course deemed the splitter unsafe as a result Harry recieved the meatball flag following this Harry recieved 3 flags resulting in a black Flag. DSQ
A Great team effort but the luck wasn’t with us, we’ll be back stronger, bring on Snetterton🏁
