We've nearly completed this lovely Alpha Romeo 2000 Spider. There was welding and fabrication but for a 1970s Alpha really very little. It's looking great in its original white colour.

Its been quite a crazy few months here at SCM. We had a fabulous summer when our complete restoration of a Ford Cortina 1500 GT won best in class for 1960s vehicles at the Classic Motor Show Knebworth House. The 1960s category was a huge class and to beat some stunning E-types and other far more valuable cars was a huge result for us.

Very sad to hear that legendary British driver Vic Elford has passed away. He was one of the greatest Porsche drivers, talented in F1, Rally, road racing and a local lad being at one time the Postmaster of our local Clophill Post office! If you don't know what he achieved you really should!
