We love an Octavia!

This one came in with the typical MOT shock absorber advisories, the customer was tired of the genuine shock absorbers from Skoda so opted for some lovely bilsteins!

Also when we carried out a health check we found the lower arm rear bushes to be excessively worn and the customer decided to go for the Powerflex bushes and get them done at the same time.

All work was carried out and we always advise 4 wheel alignment after any suspension work which will be carried out on this vehicle within the next week once suspension has settled.

What a stunning car!

This car came in with misfire/rough running under load.

With this one we done some data logging and found the fuel pressure to be down when under load by quite a bit,

We found the fuel pumps to be causing this issue unfortunately 🥴.

The customer opted to have both fuel pumps replaced as well as the followers all at the same time.

If your MQB Evo vehicle is fitted with the DQ381 DSG gearbox, your transmission has been the final limiting factor.

Until now, proper gearbox tuning simply has not been possible.
That has officially changed.

There’s fake injectors and then there are these!

We had 6 injectors in for testing, 2 of them being refurbished units which is a major red flag these injectors cannot be refurbished.

On the test rig and the two ‘refurbished’ units did nothing, no power, no fuel, nothing. On further checking we found that they unscrew.. these are supposed the be welded units.. we took a look inside and there is not even any holes for the fuel to flow through! How do companies get away with selling stuff like this! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Oddly another simple yet effective mod we are surprised we don’t see more of, our reverse camera spacer made to change the angle of your factory (or our!) reverse camera to allow you to just see the tow bar and bumper without ruining the wide angle of everything else that you are used to!

What’s cheaper, our spacer or repainting your bumper every time you hit it with the trailer!!

A tool we wish we got a while ago! With the amount of infotainment systems we deal with, for some reason we never got ourself a test rig for the systems with separate screens (most of the VW group now!)

We now have that capability to test your unit outside of the car so if you are bringing your car in or sending just your unit in for repair you know we have you covered with the same quality as if we fit the unit back into your car ourselves!

Most sensors online claiming to be Bosch are actually fakes. Genuine Bosch sensors cost a small fortune, far more than the ones commonly advertised.
