Due to taking on a fleet of trailers to maintain, I will not be taking on any more work for a short period whilst I get to grips with the extra workload.
Thankyou to all customers so far, your business is very much appreciated. I will be back on here and let you know when I open my books again.

A Skoda yeti getting the premium treatment.
Standard service and inspection.

During the inspection I found one of the tyres had a huge crack around the inner sidewall. It goes to show how important vehicle service inspections really are. Lucky for this customer they can now get this sorted, and avoid a potentially dangerous situation.

This customer contacted me to take a look at their vivaro with an engine management light on the dash. A quick diagnostic session showed engine oil dilution faults, and glow plug faults, and check of the DPF indicated multiple failed DPF regenerations.

Cause - faulty glow plugs, short journeys.

Symptom - higher dpf pressures, oil dilution, eml on dash.

Remedy - full service, replace glow plugs, flush Dpf / static regen.

The glow plugs were heavily corroded and proved difficult to remove, but they came out eventually.

Another happy customer and a vehicle safely back in the road 🤙🛠️🔧

Rear shock absorber replacement on this seat Leon yesterday afternoon, along with a little diagnostic to check an intermittent eml/ limp mode fault. This vehicle had just passed an MOT with a few advisories including rear shocks. Another happy customer on the road safely 👍🔧🛠️

Nice little Sunday job yesterday. This customer works most days, so a Sunday was most convenient for them.
The customer complained that the clutch pedal would intermittently go to the floor and not raise again. After speaking to a few local garages and being told it required gearbox removal and a whole new clutch for ££££'s. The customer called me and I quickly identified that the clutch slave cylinder is a external rod type, meaning the part is cheaper and the labour is minimal. Another car back on the road, and another customer who has saved an awful lot of money. 👍
