🛞 ANOTHER SATURDAY OFF! 🖤💛

Just a quick heads-up that Steel City Wheels will be CLOSED again this Saturday (10th October).

We’re currently navigating a bit of a challenging period, with a key member of our team taking some much-needed time away to be with family. ❤️

The workshop is still ticking over and we’re doing everything we can to keep things running smoothly, but with the lads spread a little thinner than usual, they’re definitely feeling the pressure!

They’ve been working their socks off to keep everything moving, so another Saturday off to recharge the batteries is very much needed and well deserved. 💪

We really appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding and continued support while we work through this. It genuinely means a lot to us!

We’ll be back at it on Monday, refreshed and ready for another busy week! 🔧

🛞 A LITTLE SATURDAY OFF! 😎

Just a quick heads-up that Steel City Wheels will be CLOSED tomorrow (Saturday 3rd) to give our hardworking team a well-deserved break! 🙌

It’s been a busy one, so we’re giving the lads a chance to put their feet up, recharge the batteries and enjoy a bit of downtime. 🍻

We’ll be back to business as usual on Monday, ready for another busy week of making your wheels look their best! 💪

🎉 IT’S FRIDAY… AND WE’RE FINISHING THE WEEK WITH AN M3! 🎉

Friday feeling? Absolutely. 😎🍻

We’re rounding off another busy week at Steel City Wheels with this seriously smart BMW M3, sitting on a set of huge aftermarket 21” wheels. 🔥

The wheels came in for a full refurbishment and were refinished in Satin Black — giving them a stealthy, aggressive look that works perfectly against the grey bodywork and lets those red brakes pop through the spokes. 🖤❤️

We also supplied and fitted a fresh set of tyres… and when we say these were tight, we mean TIGHT! 😅💪

Low-profile tyres on 21” aftermarket wheels certainly made us work for it, but with a bit of patience and plenty of care, they were fitted without compromising those freshly refinished wheels. 👌

The end result? Fresh Satin Black wheels, brand-new rubber and one very tidy M3 ready for the weekend. 😍

🛞🔥 LUMMA V8 Defender 110 — Challenge Accepted! 🔥🛞

This LUMMA V8 Land Rover Defender 110 gave us a bit of a challenge when it arrived at Steel City Wheels!

The wheels needed re-diamond cutting, but there was one problem… due to their size and depth, our usual lathe setup simply couldn’t accommodate them. 😬

Rather than turning the job away, we set about finding a solution. 💪

After a bit of searching, we managed to source a set of specialist jaws for our diamond-cutting lathe, allowing us to securely mount these monster wheels and get to work.

And it was well worth the effort! 😍

The wheels have been freshly diamond cut, restoring those crisp machined faces and the sharp contrast against the gloss black sections. On something as imposing as this LUMMA Defender, the wheels are a huge part of the overall look — so they needed to be right. 👌

It’s also another example of how we’re constantly investing in our equipment and capabilities so we can take on jobs that aren’t always straightforward.

Big wheels. Deep wheels. No problem. 😎

🐆 Jaguar XF-R — Shadow Chrome Transformation! 🐆

Some finishes just suit a car perfectly… and Shadow Chrome on this XF-R is definitely one of them. 😍

This stunning Jaguar XF-R came into Steel City Wheels for a full refurbishment of all four alloys, with the wheels refinished in our Shadow Chrome.

Shadow Chrome gives you the best of both worlds — a deep, darker base with bright metallic highlights that really come alive as the light hits the wheel. ✨ The result has loads of depth without going too dark and losing the detail of the wheel design.

Against the crisp white bodywork of the Jag, the contrast looks absolutely spot on. 👌 And with those big XF-R brakes tucked behind them, it finishes off an already seriously good-looking car! 🔥

🖤 Kahn Edition Range Rover — 24 Inches of Pure Presence! 🖤

There are big wheels… and then there are 24” Kahn wheels! 😮‍💨🔥

This stunning Kahn Edition Range Rover came into Steel City Wheels ahead of going to its new owner, and those huge alloys needed bringing back up to scratch.

We gave the wheels the treatment they deserved, re-diamond cutting the faces to restore that sharp, bright machined finish and bring back the contrast against the darker sections of the wheels. ✨

On a wheel this size, there’s absolutely nowhere for imperfections to hide — and when they’re fitted to something with this much presence, they need to look the part! 👌

Now freshly refinished, back on the Range Rover and ready to make an impression with its new owner. 🛞

✨ Mercedes C-Class Estate — Back to Factory Fresh! ✨

There’s something seriously satisfying about returning a set of wheels to the way they were meant to look. 👌

This Mercedes C-Class Estate came into Steel City Wheels for a full wheel refurbishment, with all four alloys returned to their factory colour and diamond-cut finish. 🛞✨

The wheels were fully prepared, refinished and then precision diamond cut to bring back those bright machined faces and crisp detailing. The result is a fresh, OEM-style finish that suits the car perfectly. 💙

But while we were keeping things factory with the wheels, we added a little extra behind them… 👀

The brake calipers were painted in a vibrant red, giving a great contrast against the freshly cut silver wheels and blue bodywork. ❤️🔥

A subtle upgrade, but one that completely changes the overall look — especially with those big Mercedes brakes sitting behind the spokes!

🏒👑 GOOD LUCK, STEELKINGS! 👑🏒

A big good luck from everyone at Steel City Wheels to the Sheffield SteelKings Para Ice Hockey Club as they head down to London this evening for the playoffs! 💙🧡

We’re incredibly proud to sponsor the team, as well as former GB international Gary Farmer, and we’ll be cheering the Kings on as they look to retain their playoff trophy! 🏆

There’ll be another familiar face making the trip down too… our newest Steel City Wheels team member, Daniel Clarke! 👏

Daniel, Gary and the rest of the Kings will be hitting the ice and giving it everything to bring that trophy back to Sheffield once again. 💪🏒

🩶 BMW E46 — Fresh H-Sport Silver! 🩶

You really can’t beat a clean set of wheels on an E46! 👌

This BMW E46 3 Series came into Steel City Wheels for a full refurbishment of all four alloys, finished in our H-Sport Silver.

It’s a bright, crisp silver that works brilliantly with this style of wheel, bringing out all the detail in those spokes while keeping that classic OEM+ BMW look. 😍

Stripped, properly prepared, refinished and back on the car — another E46 looking fresh and ready for the road! 🛞✨

And we’ve got some good news from the workshop too… our wheel balancing machine is now FIXED and back up and running properly! 🎉

We want to say another massive thank you to Sam and Richard from HomeTyre Sheffield, who stepped in and kept us moving while our machine was out of action. They came down in their mobile tyre fitting workshop and balanced a serious amount of wheels for us, making sure we could keep getting customers’ jobs finished. Absolute legends! 🙌

If you need a mobile tyre fitter around Sheffield, we genuinely can’t recommend them enough. 🤝
