📢 Weekend Closure Notice📢

After an incredibly busy period, we're giving our hardworking team a well-deserved chance to rest and recharge.

🚨EARLY CLOSE🚨

Steel City Wheels will be closing today at 4pm. A fault with the burner on our oven has meant that we have had to cease production for today. Thanks to the great team at Bostec, our oven should be back up and running tomorrow to get wheels back on the go!

We will still have access to phones and emails, so if you have any questions, please get in touch normally.

Due to rapid expansion, Steel City Wheels is looking for another member of our team!

Although a background in the automotive industry would be preffered, you will receive full training enabling you to transform wheels to the highest standard. Working with both trade and public you will work on a wide range of cars and build relationships with dealerships and retail customers.

This is a physical role so you will need the ability to carry heavy wheels on a regular basis. Tyre bay experience would be advantageous and a full UK driving licence would also be required for this position.

This is a full-time role. Although our busiest time is Monday to Friday 8am-6pm some weekend work may be required

This 5.0 Mustang GT came in with factory black wheels, but we’ve completely transformed the look with our signature Midnight Bronze finish — giving the car a deeper, more aggressive contrast while keeping that clean OEM+ style. 🐎

Paired with the gloss black bodywork and red calipers, the bronze really brings the whole build together. The difference in person is unreal.

We’ve also made some exciting additions to our refurbishment process behind the scenes, which means we’re now able to open up more booking availability through May 👀

A proper classic deserves proper attention 👌

This stunning Jaguar XK8 came all the way from Surrey to us here at Steel City Wheels after the owner spotted some of our work at a Birmingham show earlier this year — and we think the trip was worth it 🔥

These multi-piece wheels were fully split, refurbished and rebuilt following full manufacturer guidelines to ensure everything was done exactly as it should be. We also supplied and fitted brand new chrome lips to bring them back to their absolute best ✨

The fresh silver centres paired with the new polished lips completely transform the look of the XK8 and keep that timeless OEM+ feel.

We know we’ve been a bit quiet on socials lately… but that’s only because the workshop has been absolutely flat out with refurbishments like this 😅
