And that’s another one sold and collected, we knew this one wouldn’t hang around for long. As with every one of our sales trailers, the first to view will always buy, without fail.

In stock and coming up for sale real soon will be this lovely 2007 Ifor Williams HB505, a highly popular two-horse trailer designed for horses up to 16.2hh. This comes with planked aluminium flooring, 5 recent new tyres, a new side panel plus brakes and cables - last 2 services carried out by ourselves and has been TER checked with certificate and has some service and maintenance history.

Mrs TRO and I take great pleasure in reading posts like this and such nice words from our clients are what motivate us to continue our mission to make horse travel safe, convenient and affordable to all.

Chloe contacted us earlier this year and we had numerous conversations on what trailer would best suit her and her precious Romeo, would it be an HB505, HB510 or something else ? this would be her 1st trailer so we had to consider all options including size, budget and tow car options and after many weeks of chat Chloe chose the HB510 which she felt suited her horse the best.

Once the decision for an HB510 was made we sourced one and knew all along that we had a few months to refurbish it. 3 new panels and 2 new ramps were ordered and the journey began. With all the panels fitted we then serviced it including all new brakes and cables but we didn't stop there, we fitted tie rings all round, new wheels and tyres and upgraded the rear lighting to more modern LED units to make this trailer look the best there is for its age and model.

Today we had the pleasure of delivering the finished product, we couldn't resist making this a memorable occasion for Chloe so we decorated it with bows and ribbons - it's fair to say that Chloe and Romeo are very happy.

Now onto the next one. We have other trailers that are in need of the TRO Trailers touch and customers queuing to buy them - we are also looking for more stock so if you have an HB510 or even an HB505 that you are wanting to sell on a no fuss trade sale basis ( must have an aluminium floor ) then do feel free to get in touch for a chat.

We are asked so many times how the trailer lighting plug can be kept dry to prevent corrosion leading to lighting faults, how the life of the jockey wheel can be prolonged by preventing failure of the rubber and bearings due to dampness and how external hitch locks can be protected - well here we have an opportunity to purchase an affordable item that can do all three.

It does surprise us sometimes here at TRO Trailers at just how many horse trailers are out there carrying precious cargo with rotten panels, it’s scary.

Weather you’ve been previously advised by another company or you’ve been advised by ourselves that your panels are soft, have a look at these pictures - it confirms what is hiding underneath the plastic internal trims and just goes to show just how important trailer checks and servicing are.

Fortunately for this customer our advice was taken, the trailer was stripped and all new panels fitted and horses now being transported safe in the knowledge that the trailer is safe.

EXCITING NEWS for Mrs Tro and I!! Due to a house move we’ve had a partial relocation but DON’T PANIC - TRO Trailers will continue to serve most of our previous areas and will remain working from our workshop near East Knoyle. Additionally though we can now offer our mobile service for all types of trailers up to 3.5t across the whole of the New Forest and surrounding areas.
