First Benelli in the shop for us, this model is the TRK 702X, cracking bike, customer reported on usual Euro 5+ throttle issues at low rpm and a surging sensation at steady throttle 40mph region. The latest bikes now are running really lean for the majority at least in the closed loop area of the fuelling to pacify modern emission tests, a result which often performs poor throttle in town/ slow speed riding.
We often can map this out by pulling in more fuel and occasionally adding more ignition advance at certain rpm values.
Unfortunately Woolich racing don’t do a map for these bikes but our other go to mapping system Rapid Bike SMART 2 units part of the Rapid Bike Racing control units which are a plug in and go do really transform the bikes fuelling, we recently fitted one to a BMW GS1250 and with a significant improvement, they work with standard engines or slightly modified with the addition of a performance air filter and an exhaust, but more often fit well into a standard bike.
