Lines | BMW Z4

The BMW Z4 (E85) remains one of the most daring chapters in modern car styling.

Penned by Danish designer Anders Warming under BMW Design Chief Chris Bangle, it replaced the soft, retro curves of the Z3 with a radical, futuristic aesthetic.

To this day, it is celebrated as the only production car to truly master and embody BMW's famous "Flame Surfacing" design language—where convex and concave lines manipulate light to make the car look fast even when completely still.
