Cold starts, short trips, road salt and wet roads can all take a toll — and low fluids are one of the easiest ways to invite poor performance, warning lights, or even a breakdown.

Here’s what you can do in a couple of minutes (no tools, no fuss):
🛢️ Engine oil – check on level ground (ideally before a drive). If it’s near the minimum, top up with the correct oil.
🧊 Coolant – only check when the engine is cold. The level should sit between min/max on the expansion tank.
