Factory errors on ACL bearings quality control.



Another overlooked area within engine building found with manufactor issues. This time with wrong packaged items in the sealed boxes. Having been supplied only the bottom part of main bearings TWICE in the same box requires a recall on the range offered by ACL. Check and double check never take anything for granted.

This pretty bay getting ready for the summer shine. Check over the top end valve setup for wear on the cam shaft and gaps on the solid lifters before some final high boost checks on the map. Running T34 600cc injectors with a P8 ECU sequential ALS Coilpack. Forged Rods and Pistons.

Black is technically the fastest colour there is. This awesome S2 having EFi Conversion, new GRS Intercooler and fan setup to keep up with the ZVH engine and T34 Turbo. Already fitted with uprated brake line kit. Making stop as well as she goes. Now ready for the tarmac to finish off the summer in style!

A brand new pump was fitted to this S1 and within only miles of use was sent to with fuel pump issues and sender not working. Having seen this issue many times, the first point of attack was to look inside the tank by removing the sender unit. You guessed it, full of rust flakes, possibly one of the worst in recent years. Needless to say the whole fuel system from lines to components have been changed and cleaned. New tank, new sender, new pump, new injectors, new filter, lines cleaned, metering head cleaned, acumulator cleaned, new plugs. New fuel.
