This customer had a victron multiple unit fitted by a third party, unfortunately after fitting non of their sockets worked!

Well I suppose I can take a look, what I found wasn’t exactly what I would expect to find from someone carrying out electrical work and requesting payment! insulation cut exposing copper conductors, connections incorrectly made, connections not correctly protected amongst other issues.

With over 20 years experience and qualifications exceeding requirements for work in leisure vehicles I got it sorted

These decorative wind deflectors, while improving the look of caravans, have a nasty habit of collecting leaves and other debris.

This customer had noticed the collected debris was casing water to leak between the front window and window seals.

Time to remove the deflector, clean out the debris and refit with extra adhesive to prevent further debris collection

Sometimes further damage is the only option. This hitch lock was completely stuck and needed removing, I’d tried everything in my arsenal to free the lock and remove it but it was stuck absolutely solid.

This caravan also had a leak from the water heater, we were prepared for worst case scenario being a cracked tank but luckily it was just a connector that had been frost damaged! Unfortunately the frost damage had sheared the threat off which had to be delicately cut out so a new connector could be fitted.

Where there’s an engineer there’s a way

Busy day yesterday, full service carried out at Ravensdale Caravan storage.
Then quick stop in at Northallerton Motorhome Hire to take a look at a storm damaged awning.

More storm damage repairs in the coming weeks, mainly damaged roof lights but couple minor body repairs to take care of too.
