We have recently completed a couple of jobs, the first of which involved a Kia Sportage that was brought in with a snapped timing chain. Further inspection revealed that the damage was more severe than initially anticipated, resulting in four bent valves. To rectify the issue, a new chain kit and cylinder head work were necessary, after which the vehicle was returned to the customer. Today, we will be servicing a Citroen Relay motor home that requires MOT work, including a minor welding repair on the nearside inner arch, replacement of the horn with a push-button unit due to a faulty steering wheel squib, and installation of new wipers, with the customer receiving a full 12-month MOT prior to their weekend trip, as well as an Audi A3 requiring a new auxiliary belt and tensioner.
