Remarkable Jobs are recruiting for Civil Engineers and Senior Civil Engineers to join a growing engineering consultancy delivering major wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK.

This opportunity would suit engineers with strong UK wastewater infrastructure experience who enjoy working across both the design and delivery phases of projects. The role offers involvement in technically challenging infrastructure schemes alongside excellent long-term progression opportunities.

Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer Role:

As a Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer, you will support the design, coordination, and delivery of wastewater infrastructure projects including rising mains, trunk sewers, drainage systems, pumping stations, and associated civil engineering works.

Senior-level candidates will also support technical leadership activities, project coordination, mentoring, and design review responsibilities.

Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer Key Responsibilities:

* Design and delivery of wastewater infrastructure projects.

* Produce and review technical designs for sewerage and drainage systems.

* Support feasibility studies, detailed design, and project delivery activities.

* Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.

* Attend technical meetings and occasional site visits.

* Ensure projects are delivered in line with UK industry standards and regulations.

* Support programme delivery and project coordination.

* Senior Engineers will assist with mentoring and checking technical work.

What They Are Looking For:

Essential:

* UK wastewater infrastructure experience.

* Strong background in both design and project delivery.

* Experience working on drainage, sewerage, or pipeline infrastructure projects.

* AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D experience.

* Understanding of UK water industry standards and regulations.

* Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

* Experience with hydraulic modelling software such as InfoWorks ICM or MicroDrainage.

* Experience supporting multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.

* Previous mentoring or technical review experience.

Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer Key Attributes:

* Strong technical and analytical skills.

* Good communication and stakeholder management ability.

* Organised and proactive approach to project delivery.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities within a collaborative environment.
