I did a late shift today, to make sure the Renault van was painted, before the weekend.
I have all the ‘bits’ to paint on Monday, then it’s over to Wayne, for reassembly….

As always, refinished using Mipa products. 4+1 primer, WBC for colour and my new favourite, CC14 for the clear. All supplied by our favourite paint factor, Paint services.

Base applied using Anest Iwata UK LS400 and clear with jet-X

Wayne had a really good day on the ‘RV8. There were some stress cracks, in the top of the door, so these were welded up....

Wayne had a really good day on the ‘RV8.
There were some stress cracks, in the top of the door, so these were welded up. Wayne also made the repair sections for the lower front corner of the door. Trial for of the door tomorrow, then the onus is on me, to get it prepped and painted… no pressure 😅

I had lots going on today, but I did manage to prep and prime the Renault van…. Paint tomorrow.

I’ve been having a big sort out and tidy up, in the storage unit. Not a job there ever seems to be a good time to do, but needs doing, now the weather is turning, so that we can make the best use of the space.
I’ve also sorted out a few jobs I should have done to me ago! New key safe, so that we don’t have to go back and forth to the workshop safe. I’ve sired a soap dispenser and hand towel thingy, for the toilet.
I’ll need to work double hard tomorrow, to make the time up!…
