You may be able to swap your car driving test with another learner driver by phone if you both already have a test booked and want each other's test slot.

Living and working in London learning to drive was low priority for Sarah Moss. But life throws curved balls and getting a full licence unexpectedly moved to the top of her “to do list”. Between us we played “diary jenga” to slot in sufficient sessions that she would be ready to take her test at Skipton yesterday. “A lovely drive” says the examiner and this resulted in a 1st time pass. Enjoy your weekend away to rest and recover!

No more McDonald lunches on Thursdays for Holly Hope after her driving lessons - as today she passed her driving test 1st time at Skipton in the automatic mini. “A really lovely drive” said her examiner 😊 It’s been a real pleasure getting to know Holly and helping her gain self confidence in her ability to drive a car independently. I look forward to passing you in the Puma Holly.

So a double whammy today as pupils Keisha Mehta & Samuel Lord both passed their driving tests first time this afternoon - 1 in Preston & 1 in Skipton. Congratulations to you both it’s been a pleasure helping you achieve your full licences.

Phew - we arrived at Skipton by the skin of our teeth due to an unexpected road closure en route and resulting lengthy diversion. However, that didn’t faze Charlotte who pulled out all the stops - causing examiner Mark plenty of reasons to laugh during the ride and she was congratulated on a careful drive with a lovely first time pass. I shall miss our chats and the banter on a Tuesday night! Well done for nailing that test result despite the “rushed” arrival into the test centre car park.
