Interesting job today, converting a non running show bike into a running useable bike.
Electrux ignition system fitted, carb sorted, fuel and a thorough going over and this Greeves Anglian is ready for a classic trial.

Between all the regular servicing and small job’s I’ve had a couple of Moto Guzzi’s in for more major repairs.
A Norge in for a new clutch and a Griso which dropped a piece of cam chain guide onto the service shaft knocking the valve timing out and bending the inlet valves.
As the grass cutting season begins ride on mowers and other garden machinery is starting to fill the diary. 😁

Finally finished my Virago bobber build before work gets too busy, also slipped in a full engine rebuild on this pretty Yamaha TY175 including removing and blanking off the autolube assembly, now ready for the twin shock trials season to start..
The Virago will be for sale if anyone is interested.

Recommissioned a K75 at the customer’s house, it’s been stood for 4 years.
I only had to drain the old fuel, clean the plugs, new fuel, connected a good battery and it was running great.
I’ve given it a pre MOT check, everything works as it should, I’d give it an advisory on wear on all 3 discs but otherwise it will pass.
For sale as is for £995. If anyone is interested.

Just fitted a Krooztune 50mm lowering kit to a Honda Africatwin, it’s an extremely well made kit requiring a total strip and modification of the forks as well as machining 4mm off the lower valve seat.
The rear link comes with bearings fitted and greased, the shorter side stand is a straight forward swop.
The customer wanted the centre stand removed, but the kit comes with bushings to cut the stand down 50mm so can be used as normal.

Moto Guzzi convert engine rebuilt and ready to return to customer.

First job of the day is to replace the kickstart return spring on my MZ winter bike.
While being the only bike out last week in the snow, it attracted a lot of attention and when starting to leave the return spring snapped first kick in front of everyone.
Bump starting in the snow is not recommended, but as it’s a 2 stroke is easy done.
All sorted for under £15 in parts, and back to being pugly. 😁
