Southsea Remembrance Service It has now grown to become one of the largest acts of remembrance on the South Coast, regularly attracting over 1000 motorcycles of all sizes and descriptions.

Southsea Remembrance Service is an annual event that allows the motorcycle community and wider public to gather together to join the nation in observing 2 minutes on Remembrance Sunday and raise funds for the Poppy Appeal. This fully inclusive event was initially established in 2010 by the RBL Riders branch (Hampshire) to allow the local motorcycle community to gather each year on Remembrance Sund

ay. Everyone is welcome, whether on a motorcycle or not; organisations are encouraged to participate and lay a wreath as part of the service.

10th July - 31st October 1940

During the Battle of Britain many other nationalities fought for Britain to defeat the N***s. Many of them volunteered to serve in the RAF, some were from the British Empire and others were refugees and exiles from occupied Europe.

Nationalities involved were from Poland, New Zealand, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Belgium, Australia, South Africa, France, Ireland, United States, Jamaica, Rhodesia, Barbados, Newfoundland.

On July 1, 1916 at 07:30 the Allies launched the largest offensive of the war. What would soon be the bloodiest and most tragic single day in British Military history. July 1, 1916 the opening day of Somme, By 12:30 over 50,000 of Britain's soldiers were dead or wounded.

His sister Julie is in the USA and has asked Warash Veterans Breakfast Club to help with arrangements.
