71 year old MG. Original cellulose paint, newly refurbished interior but the rest of the car is original and honest.
37 hours work later and it’s ready to be collected by the client. It’s been tricky, wet sanding, 3 stage paint correction, multiple passes on the first and second stage but it’s been worth it. It’s not flawless, I didn’t have enough paint to work with on most of the car, so it’s still got some deeper scratches.
A couple of visits from the client in the early stages and he couldn’t believe the difference despite it being far from finished.
Paint protection with 3 coats of Mitchell and King AEGIS wax…. This is incredible, I’ve had this wax for two years, a birthday gift from family and it’s as good today as then, a lovely wax to work with and the finish is a deep shine.

Hi all
We are at some point in the near future going to have to move our location due to the land owner taking back the unit and surrounding building and land for a redevelopment. We have been busy looking for a new location in Poole, a suitable unit space to house up to 3 large vehicles, access with at least a 5mtr height and wide enough for larger vehicles. The outside area would require enough vehicle space to for at least 4 vehicles, water, electric and of course the main thing is secure. We will of course look at options outside of the brief, I only gave this with respect of what we currently work with.
What we have seen so far has sadly not been suitable for vehicle trade, it’s a sticking point, we are of course not mechanics, we are in essence a cleaning business and as such require a clean dry dust free location.

Completed this D300 110 Defender yesterday, 1 stage machine correction, two stage multi pass on the piano black which proved more tricky than I’d thought after a year of what I assume is hand car washes and of course the usual brushes with nature, but they came up pretty good. Paint protected with SONAX Detailing CC One ceramic coating, wheels included. Happy 👍🏼

The final Porsche of the week, a 20 year old Boxster. Honestly, the paint was worse than I’d originally thought, it arrived to us for some front end bumper damage from a sheet of timber falling on it and scuffing the front lip.
Wet sanded, corrected as much as possible, wet sanded the tops of the front arches. Then we tackled the paint, I was so surprised to to see just how good the paint was, the gloss finish, the scratches and swirls were removed. Wheels detailed, tyres dressed and 2 coats of wax and the gloss finish says it all. Mitchell and King SONAX Detailing World
