Some pictures in no particular order for you to look at. Lots going on at the minute with the kit. Dash has been covered in vinyl, centre console just about finished, boot has been lined, exhaust in place but not welded yet and so much more to do.

Picture update coming very soon. So far fuel lines are installed, all wiring connected, radiator plumbed in and it runs. No securing clips are on yet as car will have to come apart again to be painted.
Things left to do are straighten and repair chassis as the car has been used on the track and body doesn't sit right, new interior and needs wheels. Coming along nicely.

Have a few updates and more pictures coming shortly.
Wiring is in the car although not fully installed as it will all have to come apart when it's painted. started making an exhaust and mixed some old colours together to mae a rather fetching green colour with yellow/gold specles in. Fuel tank has arrived today so that should be getting fitted next week. Keep watching as there should be an upto date write up coming shortly.

we have a pedal box in the kit car, just got some reworking in fibreglass to do under the bonnet but it's getting there.

Managed to get a few bits done to the Dutton. Engine and gearbox positioned in the chassis and the wiring loom has been removed from the MX5 ready to be trimmed and connected

So today we managed to get the Dutton in for a little work. Managed to get the body of so we could inspect the chassis, bushes etc. Needs a couple of minor repairs but nothing major and eventually all the bushes will be replaced. Hopefully the engine will be removed from the MX5 tomorrow so it can be placed where it should go to see what need altering for the body to fit back on. Fingers crossed.

had a new car come in, did a deal on the Beetle and now got this, a Dutton Legerra, well, most of one anyway. It's registered with a log book but no engine, gearbox or interior.

So a good 2nd hand chassis has been aquired needing only minor repairs. Easier and cheaper than trying to repair the old one.
