What a fantastic day today. I meet this lovely lady on a night out with other lovely friends and we hit it off and have been driving and friends ever since and today she’s only gone and passed her test I couldn’t be more prouder. Xx well done you, you held your nerves and smashed it. X###

LEARNER DRIVERS 🚗🚨

PLEASE be aware if you’ve got an upcoming driving test that your test may be taking place from the premier inn next door to the turnpike. Please check your email to see if this affects you.

IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT enter the hotel/turnpike carpark to practice parking/scout it out.

The management have had numerous complaints and the DVSA have now been told that if this continues they will be asked to leave the hotel.
If this happens there will be NO tests conducted from Pontefract at all and the examiners will be relocated to other centres due to the baghill station centre being unusable.
This message was circulated from the DVSA to local instructors but lots of cars that appear to be candidates receiving private practice with parents etc are still causing this problem.
Please don’t ruin it for everyone. It’s just a bog standard carpark. It doesn’t require specific practice.

Many congratulations to the lovely Dani Leigh Bamford on passing her test today 1st time at Pontefract. Only had Dani for few weeks but my god she has worked her socks off and over come them nerves today and absolutely smashed it. So pleased for you. Enjoy your freedom it’s been a long time coming. Morning to all my lovely pupils. Hope your all well. It looks like we may be back delivering lessons from 3rd Dec depending on what is said on Thursday. Obviously I need to see what my foot is like aswell. ###

I will keep you all informed once we know more about the tier system and also guidance from the DVSA.

I'll be in touch with all my pupils after Thursday to discuss restarting.

I have now received confirmation that all driving tests and lessons have been suspended from Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2nd of December 2020.
