New batch has landed! 😁😁 30 brackets fresh out of the anodisers.

Those that have paid, they will be packaged and sent out tonight.

Just wondering if any of the track or hilclimb enthusiasts would be interested in an extended tow point? Ive used mine several times, including towing 20 miles home across the backroads without any issue. Its still relatively discreet too.

The main benefit to me, was ease of attaching a tow rope for track days, and limiting the rope/strap damaging the bumper on any inclines.

We made it for mine, but thinking of making more with a couple of little 6mm holes on the front to mount a beam breaker too (could develop and supply). Would require 3 holes drilling in the front chassis crossmember and 3 nuts welded in, or 3 riv nuts.

So, this is SuperTrev. Where this whole journey started.

Back in 2019 after blowing the engine at a trackday, me and a few friends set about repairing the car and turbocharging it over a weekend. Since that weekend, many little bits and bobs have been designed and made by myself and friends, and these are the parts id like to make available.

First off its the boot extension bracket, but we have also made full 3" turbo back exhausts, sleeved silencers, easy-bleed coolant reservoir, a track day front tow point, extended bonnet hinges and many more little bits over the years.

Home of the boot extension bracket for mk1 and mk2 chimaeras developed in 2020.

Due to a change with pump filler nozzles, slowly rolling out around the world, in some forecourts it is not possible to fill up a chimaera due to the narrow boot opening. I met with the designers of the handles and worked out a way to extend the opening of the chinaeras boot, allowing us to refil anywhere along with the additional benefit of easier boot access and thus roof storage is far easier too. The brackets are aluminium, anodised black and come with new stainless bolts and washers. No modifications are required to the car, these are a direct replacement.
