Well over a year ago I was asked if I could have a special mirror made. It arrived after a few weeks of tweaks, and delivered to the customer.
Then we thought it should really have a frame, something nice. So I contacted a few companies to have a bespoke frame made, either no one got back to me or they weren't interested in doing the job,
So i started looking for materials to use, didn't have a design in mind until I came across a chap less than a mile from my house selling Beech slabs, I met him, picked 2x slabs still with bark, moss etc still on it. Stored them away in the workshop to dry for about 9 months and this was born.. not sure who was more pleased with the finish !

Office van conversion finished this week.
Non slip floor, windows, glazed panel in the bulkhead, built in wrap around desk, solar panel, 200ah lithium battery, dc to dc charger, diesel heater, battery monitor, inverter with remote switch, filing cabinet and office chair. And still space in the back for some storage. A nice place to be!
