🚗 WELCOME TO THE TEAM, BOBBY! 🚗

We’re delighted to announce that Bobby is joining our team as a PDI! 👋

Bobby brings with him an impressive 21 years of experience in driver training, coaching students to gain their PCV licences and developing drivers to a high standard.

Over the past several months, Bobby has also been working as a PDI, gaining valuable experience as a car driving instructor and building a fantastic reputation for his calm, patient and adaptive approach to training.

Bobby is someone who takes the time to understand how each student learns and adapts his teaching to suit the individual — something we feel is incredibly important when learning to drive.

We’re absolutely delighted to have him on board and look forward to seeing him continue to develop as an ADI with us. 🙌

Welcome to the team, Bobby! 🚗💨

🎉 KATIE — PASSED FIRST TIME IN PEEBLES! 🎉

Katie is genuinely one of the best students I’ve had the pleasure of teaching in my short career as an instructor.

Her journey hasn’t always been easy. There have been plenty of emotions, plenty of challenges, and moments where she’s found things tough — but what has stood out from day one is her determination, resilience and willingness to keep learning. 💪

She never stopped pushing herself, even when things didn’t come naturally, and today all of that hard work paid off…

She absolutely smashed it! 👏

I couldn’t be prouder of Katie and everything she has achieved. It’s been a pleasure watching her confidence grow and seeing her overcome the challenges along the way.

Now she’s got her licence, she’s perfectly set up to go and smash that PhD too! 🎓🔥

Huge congratulations Katie — you deserve every bit of this! 👏❤️

Enjoy the freedom! 🚗💨

🚗🎉 PASS! 🎉🚗

A huge congratulations to Jordan, who came to me from another instructor who doesn’t offer tuition in Peebles.

It’s only fair to give credit where credit’s due — Jordan arrived with a really good standard of driving thanks to the solid foundation he’d already built with his previous instructor. We only had a few little things to tweak and work on before getting him test-ready.

Jordan worked incredibly hard, and despite a nervy start, he kept his focus and determination. Today, all that hard work paid off as he passed his driving test with just 3 driving faults! 🙌👏

Absolutely fantastic result, Jordan! You should be very proud of yourself. 🚘💨

Congratulations and enjoy the freedom! 🥳🎉

🎉🚗 FIRST-TIME PASS FOR PETER! 🚗🎉

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Peter, who passed his driving test first time today in Currie, with just 4 driver faults! 👏🥳

What a fantastic result! All the hard work, practice and determination have definitely paid off. It’s been a pleasure watching your confidence and driving develop, Peter, and you should be extremely proud of yourself.

Enjoy the freedom of driving — you’ve earned it! 🚗💨

Well done, Peter! Absolutely brilliant driving! 👏🏆🎉

Wee car selfie seeing as it was raining! 😂

Passing the driving test is just the beginning.

I don’t just teach my pupils how to complete a manoeuvre to examiner standards. I teach real-world driving skills they’ll use every day.

If you were to ask a lot of full licence holders which manoeuvre they hate the most, many would say the parallel park. Why? Because they were only ever taught how to do it with plenty of space and very little pressure. Once they pass their test, they’re expected to park in real-life situations with cars in front, cars behind, traffic waiting, and much tighter spaces.

Today was a great example of why I teach beyond the test. Owen started the lesson with a full talk-through of the parallel park in a quiet, easy area. By the end of the lesson, he was independently parallel parking between two cars on a residential street with confidence. That’s real progress—and that’s the kind of experience that prepares you for everyday driving, not just test day.

That’s why my lessons include learning how to park safely and confidently between two parked cars on residential streets, dealing with real traffic, real spaces, and real-life situations—not just the ideal scenarios you might find on a test route.

My goal isn’t just to help you pass your test. It’s to help you become a safe, confident driver for life. 🚗💙

🎉🚗 A huge congratulations to Freya on passing her driving test today in Currie! 🚗🎉

I’m not sure why she was so nervous… well, apart from the roasting hot weather! ☀️🥵 Her biggest fear was having to face the ridiculously long wait for a retest—which, let’s be honest, shouldn’t even be something that’s adding so much extra stress to people’s test day.

I’ve been telling her for months that she was going to breeze this test, but did she listen? Of course not! 😂 She still managed to convince herself she’d need another go.

Thankfully, today she finally proved me right! 😄 She kept her cool (despite the temperature!), drove brilliantly, and passed with flying colours.

Freya also holds a special place in my journey as an instructor, as she was my very first student when I started out as a PDI. Seeing her pass today makes this one even more special for me, and I’m so proud of everything she’s achieved.

Well done, Freya! It’s been an absolute pleasure helping you on your journey. Enjoy your well-earned freedom, and remember… now the real learning starts! 😜🚘

Drive safely, enjoy every minute, and thanks for finally believing me… even if it was only after you’d passed! 😂👏🎉

🎉 Huge congratulations to Kasey on passing her driving test first time today in Peebles! 🚗💨

This wasn’t just about learning to drive—it was about overcoming some really tough nerves and believing in herself. Despite feeling anxious, Kasey showed real determination, stayed focused, and absolutely smashed it out of the park today.

It’s been an absolute pleasure teaching her, and I’m so proud that she’s proven to herself that she is more than capable of getting the job done. That’s a lesson that will stay with her long after today’s test.

Wishing you many years of safe, confident driving, Kasey. Enjoy every mile of your new freedom—you’ve earned it! 🎉👏🚗
