Rather than buy the "cheaper" alternatives like for example AllBalls who buy in non brand cheap s**t. Have a look at what the Japanese use as standard. KOYO (aka JTEKT) or the Korean maker KBC. Pretty much the same price. These were changed at 50k miles and only because I had the wheel off anyway for new tyres. The sprocket carrier bearing felt a little loose. So changed all three on the rear for KOYO. It's not a hard job but why do numerous changes because of cheap parts 🤷🏻

The other temporary (spare) clip link chain replaced for a rivet type. Paranoia gone. The other chain is in a zip lock bag of oil. Nothing wrong with it, I just don't like the clip style, I'll keep it for spare.

Finally got round to putting new chain and sprockets on, oil and filter was a quick easy win. Still the big service to do though and not looking forward to that one at all!

The gaffer came in to check the progress on the oil and filter change... I had to send him out... He wasn't wearing a hard had.

Throttle bodies synced, what a ball ache that ended up being 🤦
Manual says evey 6k... that's all very well for them to say that, but they're not the ones that have to do it!

Rear caliper service... for two winters it was still in pretty good nick. Testament to looking after the bike.
