A massive congratulations to Amelia from Failsworth who passed today FIRST time in her own car. Lovely drive with only 4 driver faults. You've been an absolute pleasure to teach and will miss our lessons. The advantage of having your own car to do private practice with family members has been invaluable. Following on from my post earlier, this is the driving school page that is posting these photos. Please help to stop this by reporting and blocking, it's just vile and disgusting 🤬

Unfortunately, there are social media pages out there taking pass photos of young women and reposting them online without their consent, just to get likes, followers and engagement.

These photos are meant to celebrate a huge achievement. They are not an invitation for strangers to comment on someone's appearance, objectify them or make sexual remarks. Some of the comments being made are honestly disgusting, and it's upsetting to see.

No one should have their photo shared without their permission, especially when it leads to this kind of attention. It's creepy, disrespectful and needs to stop.

If you come across any of this content, please report the page and block it. The more people who do that, the less reach these accounts will have.

It's definitely made me think more carefully about how I'll be taking and sharing pass photos in the future.

Just to be clear, all pass photos shared on the Buzzin' Academy for Learners page have been posted with the student's consent. Their achievements deserve to be celebrated in a safe and respectful way.

Thank you for reading. Hopefully, by raising awareness, we can all help make social media a safer place.

So, today is the day that you take control of booking your driving test, if you need to swap, details on how to do this are below 🚗

❗ REMINDER ❗

From tomorrow, YOU (the learner driver) and you only are allowed to book and manage your driving test which means your instructor isn't allowed to do this ⛔

If you do need to swap with another student you will both need to be available and one student will call the DVSA to give the details of the swap then the DVSA will contact the other student at the same time to confirm they are happy to swap then they will complete the swap over the phone and email confirmation will be sent to each student. Any questions please just ask 😊

Congratulations to Caitlin from Failsworth who passed this morning. What a great way to start the week and was definitely worth the 5.45am.get up!!! It was an amazing drive with only 3 driver faults and shows that hard work and determination pays off 💪

You were an absolute pleasure to teach and I'll miss our lessons, we always had a good laugh 😂

This means your driving instructor won’t be allowed to do this for you.
