In 1995, Dolly Parton started mailing books to children in her home county to inspire children to love reading in honour of her dad, who couldn’t read or write 🩷

That idea lives here too. Since 2012, following a scheme started by a teaching assistant in Wollaton, the Nottingham Imagination Library has sent over 600,000 free books to 14,000 children 📚

From 24th August till the 18th September. Groundworks are being carried out on Clinton Street West. Kebab King and the phone repair stall will remain in there normal positions. However, many of the others will be located either to Lincoln Street or Clinton Street East.

The noodle stall will be taking a holiday during the works and will return once completed.

And we would also like to wish Sandy from the Caribbean food van a very happy birthday 🥳
