🛞 DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TREAD IS LEFT ON YOUR TYRES? 👀

Checking your tyre tread depth is quick and easy — and it’s something every driver should keep an eye on, especially with wet weather! 🌧️

🔎 HOW TO CHECK YOUR TYRE TREAD:

1️⃣ Find the tread wear indicators in the grooves of your tyre.
2️⃣ These show the legal minimum tread depth of 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre, around the complete circumference.
3️⃣ If the tread is getting close to the indicators, it’s worth considering replacing your tyres.
4️⃣ Also check for cracks, cuts, bulges or uneven wear.

With wet weather comes a higher risk of aquaplaning — when your tyres lose contact with the road because of surface water. This can cause a sudden loss of steering and control. ⚠️

That’s why it’s important to regularly check your tyres:

✅ Check your tyre tread depth
✅ Look for cracks, bulges or damage
✅ Make sure your tyre pressures are correct
✅ Replace worn or damaged tyres when needed
