Finally some nice decent weather 💪🏼😎☀️. Also some jobs from the last few months.

🔧 Vauxhall Insignia in for a cam belt & water pump change.

🔧 Ford Transit in for rear brake pads & prop shaft replacement.

🔧 Renualt Master in for driveshaft replacement.

🔧 Mercedes A Class to diagnose airbag issue. Found drivers seatbelt buckle faulty, replaced & airbag light now off.

🔧 Nissan Qashqai in for a full service.

🔧 Ford Ranger in for a full service, front brake pads & a front coil spring.

🔧 Ford Fiesta in for a front wheel bearing replacement.

🎄🎅🏼A F Autos is now closed for 2025 and will be back open on the 5th January 2026. I would like to thank you all for the continued custom & recommendations throughout my first year of being self employed. Some of the jobs over the last few weeks

🔧 Mitsubishi Sh**un - Auxiliary belts replaced.

🔧 Mini - Replaced VVT sensor due to oil leak.

🔧 Ford Transit - Replaced power steering pipes due to excessively leaking.

🔧 Adria Camper van - Carried out full service, replaced front brake pads & both front suspension arms.

🔧 Vauxhall Astra - Replaced crank pulley & auxiliary belt due to crank pulley failing.

🔧 Vauxhall Zafira - Replaced turbo boost hose due to splitting.

🔧 Volkswagen Transporter - Carried out oil & filter change & oil level sensor replacement.

🔧 Volkswagen Caddy - Clutch pedal sticking down & required a new clutch slave cylinder.

🔧 Vauxhall Corsa van - EML light on & stuck in limp mode. Replaced mass air flow sensor.

🔧 Ford Transit - Brake pad warning light on. Replaced rear brake pads including new wear sensor.

Just a few jobs in from over the last week and was definitely a warm one 🥵 ☀️

🔧 Volkswagen Polo cam belt replacement.

🔧 Nissan Qashqai for both lower suspension arms to be replaced and tracking adjustment.

🔧 Volkswagen golf in for a DPF pressure sensor issue. Found it had melted so required a new sensor to be fitted along with a new plug wired in.

🔧 Jaguar XE in for rear brake pads replacement.

🔧 Volkswagen Caddy in for Northants Pro Clean for a small service.

🔧 Renault Trafic for DF Cleaning for a MOT which required a few repairs which was carried out.

Peugeot 308 booked in for wet belt / cam belt replacement. Oil pressure fault on the dash due to the belt being designed to run in the engine oil and deteriorating which had blocked the oil pick up 🤦🏼‍♂️. Timing belt kit was replaced and sump pan removed to clean out the oil pick up and refitted. Fresh oil and oil filter and the vehicle is good to go 😎 🚗

Couple of jobs over the last few days…
🔧 Vauxhall Zafira booked in for a full service.

🔧 Ford Transit in for a coolant loss and found the radiator was leaking so replaced it using a genuine part.

🔧 Todays jobs in higham ferrers was an Audi A6 for a broken coil spring. Customer decided to have both front ones done at the same time, And a Mini Cooper in for a front wheel bearing replacement… also spotted that the tyre had a bulge on the outer sidewall so got that replaced for them. 👍🏼👌🏼

This mornings job in wollaston. Vauxhall Astra booked in for a Cam belt change along with a new water pump and auxiliary belt. Previously carried out a full service on this and found no history of it being changed so the customer decided to have it replaced to prevent any major engine issues. 👌🏼👍🏼

Job in Northampton on this Vauxhall Meriva in for a small service and customer also mentioned about a noise they heard. Found a broken coil spring on the rear and wanted it replaced. Vehicle is now good to go 👌🏼👍🏼
