Alternator and Aux belt change on a Citroen Berlingo today!

We’re very grateful Fiona and Jimmy came back to us from previous work on an insignia they owned, just shows testament to good work!

All for the total of £120 which beats any rate charged by any garage, we look forward to working for them again in the future!

The importance of service intervals:
Here’s an example of why you should service your car at regular intervals (I recommend every 10k or yearly, whichever is sooner!) As oil gets older it will degrade over time and end up with the consistency of treacle. This will then make it harder to circulate around the engine and not allow it to be lubricated up to the standard it should be. It can also affect performance and especially with diesel engines can clog up intake manifolds/throttle body’s/EGR’s/DPF’s and the internals of the engine itself which can result in engine failure which is costly within itself. Please service your cars people!

Here’s one of the many cars I worked on today! A Simon initially came to me to me wanting a Health Check for this he recently purchased which came back with faults on the Swirl Flaps and Lambda Sensor which have been rectified today with a intake manifold and new Lambda Sensor courtesy from our friends at from this I treated Simons car to a Oil and Filter change too at no additional cost as the dealer failed to disclose it hadn’t been serviced for staggering 53,000 miles and since then it’s running sweet as a nut and putting perfectly again! It was a pleasure Simon and will be seeing you again for some BMW goodies!

Good morning folks!

After much thought I’ve come to the conclusion it’s jnsafe to work today with Storm Éowyn raging throughout the north east today so I will only be coming out for emergencies only! I will be running back up to full business when it passes! Stay safe out there and please only make essential trips out!

Hi there guys!

After much thought I’ve come up with a price list of services please find them below

Price list:

Diagnostic - £30
Labour rate - £40 per hour
Call out fee - £1 per mile from NE3
I will only charge the price of parts + Labour for services/repairs

Sunday rates - Above rates x 1.5 (e.g diagnostic fee is 30 x 1.5 ‎ = 45)

Any call outs beyond 1900 will also incur a fee subtotalling the above rates x 1.5

Also if anyone refers new customers to me and they verify that I will do a 25% discount on your next job!
