This Peugeot popped along for a full regular service, with today’s introduction of wet belts, and timing chains servicing couldn’t be any more important.

Manufacturers greatly over-exaggerate service intervals to make you buy the car from new, knowing it will last until the vehicle is no longer in warranty.

For example 20,000 miles is FAR too long to go without an oil change.

Why not message us to get your vehicle serviced, on average we can be 1/4 the price of a main dealer service and have access to online service history to keep your vehicles warranty intact.

For both retail and trade customers we can collect your vehicle if it’s unable to be driven.

For any auto electrical work contact us first for a cost effective repair, with over £60k of investment in the last two years alone on equipment, we have everything needed in house to save you money.

This can be using second hand modules to a first time diagnosis.

As we see more and more of the B16 timing chains coming through the door we are now able to offer a fixed price for this service.

Astra-K, Zafira-C, Insignia-A/B timing chain supplied and fitted with a full service is just £1,300!

If a clutch and flywheel is required the fitted at the same time the price is £2,300.

* Please note on 99% of cases we have found the vehicle required a flywheel at the time of doing the timing chain, so always consider for this when booking in.

VW Sharan in for a faulty squib, this was displaying faults such as horn not working, SRS airbag light on and steering wheel controls not working.

Fitted a genuine replacement and recalibrated the steering angle sensor.

Vehicle all fixed and just in time for its taxi test at 1pm.

Apologies if we are a little quite this week, we are on holiday, sunning it up in Turkey until Saturday, while the poor guy who does the social media posts receives countless pictures of a cold beer by the pool!

But take a look at some of our jobs last week, this Tiguan came in for a routine DSG service, replacing the in-sump oil filter, new gasket and warm-up and cool-down procedure carried out to exact VAG spec.

Many more smooth miles ahead for this gearbox now.

This isn’t as costly as you might think, if your clutch is on its way out give us a call for a quote, it can’t hurt and you’ll be surprised and how cheap we actually are.
