Another GTD in today for some Kennedy’s Sauce! 🌶️
We know these engines well and have tested various reseller files to see how they compare. A typical generic file tends to produce around 210 BHP and 420 Nm on our rollers, usually running 1.9-2 bar of boost and around 75 mg of fuel. That’s absolutely fine, depending on what the customer wants.
This one is running around 88 mg of fuelling at the top end alongside 2 bar of boost. Although it hasn’t been on the dyno, comparing its logs with similar setups we’ve previously tested suggests approximately 230 BHP and 480-500 Nm. These are estimated figures, rather than confirmed dyno results.
EGTs remained within reason and intake temperatures stayed nice and low, reaching just 33°C during a road pull.
Some might call this a “death map” but we’d describe it as a tune that pushes things a little further. The key is how the engine responds and what the logs show.
