We recently heard from a buyer to let us know that a car purchased here at Manor Park Classics is now happily enjoying life in Cyprus 🇨🇾

It’s far from the only one. Cars sold at MPC regularly head to new homes around the world, with another two having left for Germany last week 🇩🇪

So whether you’re joining us in Cheshire, bidding online from elsewhere in the UK, or watching from considerably sunnier surroundings, you can be part of the sale.

Steve Berry joins us at MPC North for a full look around the motorcycles heading under the hammer this Friday 4th September at 11am.

And with plenty to choose from, we gave Steve another job, because apparently walking around an auction hall full of bikes wasn’t enough: pick five that really caught his eye for their remarkably low mileage.

His five picks include:

🏍️ 2015 Triumph Bonneville T100 – just 2,225 miles from new
🏍️ 2017 Benelli 302R – an immaculate, low-mileage example
🏍️ 1994 Kawasaki GPX250R - Just 11,000 miles
🏍️ 1981 Honda CBX1000 – an extraordinary low-mileage example with 154 miles
🏍️ 1977 Norton Commando 850 – just 9 miles from new and never registered!

🏍️ BUDDY’S BIKE OF THE WEEK… TIMES TWO! 🇮🇹

Buddy was supposed to choose one Bike of the Week.

He couldn’t.

So this week we’ve got two racing-linked Ducatis from our September Motorcycle Auction.

🔴 1989 Ducati 904 Paso
A very special example with a fascinating motorsport connection, originally gifted to Nigel Mansell by the Scuderia Ferrari Grand Prix team and carrying Mansell’s signature on the rear tail cover.

🔴 1997 Ducati 748 – Carl Fogarty Replica
A striking Carl Fogarty replica, styled in the spirit of the legendary 916 SPS and celebrating one of the most iconic riders and eras in Ducati World Superbike history.

Two very different Ducatis, but both with serious racing connections.

One linked to Formula One World Champion Nigel Mansell.
The other paying tribute to Ducati and Carl Fogarty’s dominant superbike years.

Jim is back at Manor Park Classics for a huge weekly walkaround, taking a closer look at nearly 50 new arrivals heading into next weekend’s auction.

From classics and modern classics to performance cars, unusual entries and plenty of fresh arrivals, there’s a serious amount to get through this week.

Two survivors. Two projects. Two cars you’re unlikely to ever see another example of in the flesh. 👀

The 1936 Cord Model 810 Westchester and 1948 Fiat 1500 D Convertible are both fascinating survivors heading into our September Car Auction at MPC North.

Neither is a polished show car. Both need restoration. But that’s exactly what makes them so interesting.

The Cord also comes with an array of parts that the vendor has collected throughout his ownership, all of which are included with the car and should prove invaluable to its next custodian.

The Fiat is an extraordinarily rare example in its own right, making this a rather unusual pairing to have under one roof.

Cars like these really need to be seen in person. There’s paperwork, history, detail, parts and character that simply don’t come across properly in a handful of photographs.

Modern classics are changing what we think of as a classic convertible. ☀️🏁

In this video we take a look at a brilliant mix of open-top machinery, including the 1995 Mercedes-Benz E 220 Convertible, 2007 Porsche Boxster 2.7, 1999 BMW Z3 2.8i Fiji Edition, 1998 Audi 2.8 Cabriolet and 2011 Mercedes-Benz E250 Sport CDi.

Cars that were once simply seen as modern used convertibles are now becoming firmly established as the classics of today, bringing a whole new generation of buyers into the market.

From elegant four-seat cruisers to proper two-seat sports cars, the variety is huge, and the definition of a “classic convertible” is moving on with it.

🏍️ BUDDY’S BIKE OF THE WEEK 🏍️

This week, Buddy’s picked something you certainly don’t see every day… a 1993 Yamaha GTS1000.

One of Yamaha’s most unusual and ambitious motorcycles, the GTS1000 is instantly recognisable thanks to its radical hub-centre steering and futuristic design. More than 30 years later, it still looks like very little else on the road.

This rare example presents in nice condition and comes with a host of useful spares, making it a particularly interesting prospect for anyone looking for something a little different for the collection.

💷 Estimate: £1,500–£2,000

It’s entered into our MPC North September Motorcycle Auction, taking place on Friday 4th September at 11am.
