🚦 Failing a Driving Test: The Stop Sign Mistake 🚦

One of the most common reasons learners fail their driving test is not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign.

It might seem minor, but rolling through a stop sign is taken seriously because it’s a safety hazard. Here’s what examiners are looking for:
✅ Full stop – your wheels must completely stop moving.
✅ Check all directions – look left, right, and ahead for other vehicles or pedestrians.
✅ Proceed safely – only go when it’s clear.

One second too short = automatic fail. 😬
Stop fully. Look carefully. Drive safely. ✅

💡 Tip: Think of a stop sign as a full pause button, not just a “slow down” signal. Practicing complete stops will not only help you pass your test but also keep you and others safe on the road.

One of the most common reasons learners fail their driving test is poor observations at junctions. And honestly - it’s something even experienced drivers can slip up on!

👀 What examiners want to see:
✔️ A proper pause at closed junctions
✔️ Peep and creep at closed junctions
✔️ Checking left and right like we’re watching a tennis match and want to follow the ball with our eyes. It helps a lot 🙂
✔️ Emerging slowly and safely
✔️ Not relying on a “quick glance” at closed junctions.

Remember: If you can’t see clearly, don’t go.
Rushing a junction is never worth it.
