2026/27 MOT TESTER ANNUAL TRAINING COURSES AVAILABLE FOR BOOKING NOW!

Great News! The 2026-27 GB MOT Training programme of Annual Training Courses is now published and places are available for booking. The courses will run from September through until mid-March.

The courses and dates are all shown on the website gbmottraining-booking.administrateweblink.com/catalogue

We will be running courses in almost all the same locations as last year.

We will be contacting individually those customers who normally have an on-site course with us.

Feedback from 2025-26 was once again amazing and the average assessment score for all our students increased to 96% with NO fails.

EXCELLENT TRAINING COURSES
You know the high standard of our training. We can assure you that with us, you get the very best.

DVSA are making it harder for testers to take the assessment without proper training. They can tell who has just taken the assessment without training.

So if you haven’t been with us before, you can take the training and assessment in a relaxed half-day session with an ex DVSA senior trainer.

If you don’t want to travel to a course, you can take the training and assessment from the comfort of your own armchair over Zoom. We have lots of dates available for this.

If you have a three or more testers, why not ask us about us delivering the training/assessment at your site? Just give us a call and we’ll do our utmost to accommodate you.

Testers receive the very best knowledge when they attend our courses. Not only that, but they can always contact the trainer for advice any time after the course.

Please double-check that your MOT assessment has successfully uploaded onto your MOT profile. If it hasn’t, you risk being struck off after 31st March!

Don’t leave it until the last minute—log in and confirm it’s been recorded. ✅

If you haven’t completed your MOT assessment yet, don’t worry! We still have a few courses running before the end of the training year. Get booked in and stay compliant!

We are planning to run a course for the Level 3 MOT Management qualification to take place in Mid or South Wales in the near future.

This two-day course provides the qualification to be an Authorised Examiner (AE) or Authorised Examiner Designated Manager (AEDM).

If you have recently made changes at your MOT station, Directors or Partners etc. or you have had a change of AEDM, you may well need this course.

Give us a call if you're unsure or would like more details.

We have now started a new comprehensive service called TOTAL SUPPORT.
For one annual subscription, you get all of the following:

1. A full site audit every year with a full report and recommendations. We help you implement everything you need to stay compliant. Each site audit includes a QC test.

2. Full classroom Annual training and assessments for your testers

3. An interactive monthly electronic self-audit report for your station.

4. Monthly TQI reports detailing failure rates etc. in graphical form, but containing much more. It includes a list of all IP adresses, so any oddiries stand out. A list of all tests that were done in too short a time. All tests that were done outside normal test hours.
This is a great tool for monitoring your quality and DVSA expect you to do it. This is the easiest way. It's also a great tool to highlight any odd test activities by your testers. This has saved a few authorisations already.

5. Free written representations to DVSA if you face disciplinary proceedings.

6. Free telephone helpline.

You can add extras, such as more frequent site audits or QC tests.

Remember, that all this is done by former DVSA senior staff. So, we are the real experts in MOTS, having been doing this for over 45 years.

We are very pleased to announce that GB MOT Training will now be offering the Level 3 Award in MOT Management course.

The first course will take place on 9th June in Bury, Manchester.

Further courses in other locations will follow. There will be approximately monthly courses advertised, and in various locations.

This is a mandatory course for the MOT Station Authorised Examiner (AE) or AE Designated Manager (AEDM) or those who wish to become an AE or AEDM.

A Level 3 Award in MOT Management course must be attended for each AE by:
An AE Principal for the AE, the AE Designated Manager for that AE

The course is designed to help the AE and AEDM to fully understand their responsibilities and role within the MOT Service.

Authorisations granted before 1 April 1995, that have not been subject to change, do not require their AEDM to have attended the MOT Managers Course.

The cost of this two-day course is £495 plus VAT.
