Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our growing maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our customers light commercial vehicles and cars to ensure optimal operational performance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for mechanical work and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Duties
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on our customers light commercial vehicles and cars.
• Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Qualifications
• Own tools.
• Proven experience as a mechanic is preferred.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
• A valid driving licence.
• Commitment to maintaining high safety standards at all times.
