🥊 A difficult announcement from Nicholls Boxing

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Nicholls Boxing.

This isn’t something I ever imagined I’d have to say when I first opened the doors. I started the gym because I wanted to create something for the local community — a place where people could learn to box, get fitter, build confidence and, hopefully, find something positive for themselves.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has walked through those doors, whether you’ve been with us from the beginning, came along for a few sessions, brought your children to Little Warriors, attended a PT session, or simply supported what we were trying to build.

Unfortunately, the reality is that the gym is no longer financially supporting itself, and I have to make the sensible decision to step away rather than continue putting money into something that isn’t working as a business.

That doesn’t take away from what it’s achieved.

I’m proud that we opened the doors. I’m proud of the people we helped. And I’m proud that for a while, Nicholls Boxing was a place people could come, train and have a safe space.

To everyone who supported me — thank you. It genuinely means more than you probably realise.

The gym will still be open until the 30th of October
