Got a call from a customer Wednesday evening that their car had made a loud bang and wouldn't drive

So got location and we jumped in the recovery on arrival we noticed front passenger wheel was moved back in wheel arch and inspected what had happened and found that subframe had broken and this would have put pressure on the driveshaft and caused it to break at same time.

We got the wheel forward in the arch and secured it temporarily to get the car recovered off the roadside and brought it to our workshop

The next morning, we got their car up on the lift to inspected what had happened turned out the front subframe was completely rotten on passenger side so we set about sourcing another one and a driveshaft and collected them. We sanded down any surface rust on the new subframe and painted it all to protect it. We then set about removing the old subframe and replaced it with new one and replaced broken driveshaft with new one. Got the car back down on its wheels and took a test drive to make sure everything was 100% and ready for the customer to collect all this done in 48 hours
