A local garage contacted me to recover this vauxhall combo van which was void of its gearbox following an unresolved issue with the previous repairer .
The engine was just held in with one flimsy mounting and whatever plastic pipes were still connected which wasnât ideal with the rest of the parts just thrown on the seats and in the back đ so I had to take it slow with this to avoid any sudden bumps which might cause that to detach .
Once I was at the garage I didnât just drop it off I rotated it on the truck and backed it into the workshop so they could put the ramp directly under which would make things easier
for them and reduce the Risk of the wheel bearings collapsing as the driveshafts werenât in .
Added to that The brakes were rusty, tyres flat and work equipment in the back so it wouldnât push easily even if you wanted to .
