M3 in with us for the infamous big end bearing issue.
This is a full history 65K mile car, and still showing signs of serious wear on all upper bearing shells.
Luckily the customer was aware of this issue and came to us before it was too late.
After all clearances were checked to confirm no crankshaft wear, we fitted a set of new ACL Race bearings and the customer went away happy.

So today we've been working on the latest edition to the BHP fleet, my own 335i MSport Coupe.
First order of business was to install a set of 1 step colder spark plugs, to allow for better heat resistance on a tuned engine.
Next up was a full gearbox service, which is often overlooked by owners of these vehicles.
Followed by the installation of a much larger alloy intercooler and alloy charge pipe, to replace the notoriously brittle factory plastic charge pipe.
And finally a visit to our good friends at Tuning Lab - Custom Remapping & Dyno to make some noise on the rollers and see if we can't see 400bhp+

Doing some very last minute upgrades to this customers Z3, in preparation for Werrington Park Speed hilllclimb tomorrow.
New brakes, radiator and a helical torque biasing diff should help to improve times for sure.

And of course, some essential fuel for the mechanic. 😎

This stunning Golf Gti came to us after being diagnosed elsewhere with potential engine failure, due to plug fouling and misfire issues.
And although the customer was happy for us to build him a fully forged engine if needed, we thought we'd look into it further first.....

After a thorough investigation we soon discovered the issue was with 2 of the fuel injectors, so to prevent further issues we fitted a full set of new ones.

Now the vehicle is running better than ever, and we have one very happy customer.
