Tarka – 55ft Colecraft Narrowboat

Tarka is a beautifully presented 55ft, four-berth narrowboat, built and fitted by Colecraft in 2025. Featuring Cruiser stern , complete with a pram cover and cratch, she is powered by a reliable Beta 43 inboard diesel engine.

Reluctantly offered for sale due to a change in circumstances, Tarka is a high-quality, thoughtfully designed craft offering stylish and comfortable accommodation throughout.

Entering from the Cruiser stern, you step into the well-appointed galley. Finished with attractive quartz worktops and splashbacks, the galley provides ample low-level cupboard storage, a stainless-steel sink, three-burner gas hob and an eye-level oven and grill. Appliances include a Hotpoint washer/dryer and a 12-volt fridge and microwave

The galley worktop also incorporates a dinette area, while opposite is a charming duck hatch – the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee while taking in views of the river.

Moving through the boat, the saloon offers a comfortable L-shaped seating area, also has a removeable table that can make a dinning area for 6 ,which converts into an occasional double berth and benefits from useful storage beneath. Externally, Vixen has portholes throughout and a distinctive tug-style bow with decorative faux rivets, giving her plenty of traditional character.
