Formula Student (FS) is Europe's most established educational motorsport competition, run by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. We are sad to hear that FS East will not be taking place this year. For those teams who were signed up, we would like to offer you support to join us at Silverstone and show off your car at our UK competition.

We will be sharing details of our offer with FS East for them to pass on to all registered teams. Alternatively you can contact us directly by emailing [email protected] no later than the 10th of June, including the following details:

• Team Name
• University Name
• Point of Contact (Name, Email & Phone Number)
• Entry Type: CV / EV / Driverless
• Any specific issues we should be aware of

Racing from dawn till dusk at Sepang 🏁 Chaos, close battles, and classic GT1 vibes made this one unforgettable.

Race 1 came down to the final corner, with Southampton University Formula Student Team snatching victory from NCME Racing, while Queen Mary Formula Student charged from the back to P4. Then in Race 2, they somehow went even bigger - last to first 👏

Overall victory went to SUFST, with NCME Racing in P2 and QMFS in P3 (after penalties meant they were capped at 95% score). Shoutout as well to UVigo Motorsport , DMU Racing, Formula Student Bizkaia and MTU Formula Student for some of their strongest results of the season 💪

Now we head into a 2 month break before the final round at Williams Sim Racing on July 14th… with 6 teams still mathematically in the title fight 👀🔥

As the organising committee for Formula Student UK, we were devastated to hear that Formula IHU Greece has been cancelled this year.

We know how much work teams have put into preparing for competition this season, and despite the short timeframe, we want to explore every opportunity to help you compete in a Formula Student event.

Formula Student UK takes place 15–19 July at Silverstone Circuit, the home of British Motorsport.

This year’s event will also see the return of:

Unlimited Acceleration runs
Unlimited Skid Pad runs
Unlimited Sprint runs

To support our planning around judging, scrutineering, camping, and event capacity, we’d like to hear from teams interested in attending.
