From code to car.

For the University of Edinburgh’s Formula Student AI team , 2026 was a major milestone: getting their first ever physical autonomous car ready to compete.

Months of hard work went into building the car, fine-tuning the software and teaching the AI to navigate the challenges of the track.

Team lead Aliya Mosha, a maths student, explains what it took to get the team competition-ready. 🎥
