Meet Katy 👋 The woman behind Let’s Go! Camper Hire 🚐❤️

Let’s Go! started after Katy had her first child, born from a love of travel, a VW camper and a little help from her partner, Barney — who luckily knows a thing or two about VWs! You might spot him popping up here from time to time too. 👋

They spent lots of time travelling in their first van, loving the freedom of packing up, hitting the road and seeing where the journey took them. Somewhere along the way came the thought… maybe other people would love this too?

And so, Let’s Go! Camper Hire was born. 🚐

Fast forward to today and there are now four lovely campers in the Let’s Go! family:

🍒 Cherry — our dog-friendly girl, because some adventures are better with four paws along for the ride.
❤️ Ruby — a much-loved member of the Let’s Go! gang.
🌹 Rosie — an automatic VW T6 with solar panels and 2021 plates.
🤍 Pearl — our newest addition. With 2021 plates & solar panels, our manual beauty is ready and waiting for her next adventure.

* All vans have all mod cons for an easy road trip.

But for Katy, Let’s Go! has always been about much more than handing over the keys.

She loves helping people make the most of their trips — from packing tips and places to visit, to sharing recommendations picked up along the way. And one of her favourite parts of the job is seeing your photos and hearing all about your adventures when you get back. 🥰

Travel. Family. Good times. They’re three of Katy’s favourite things — and probably the best way to sum up what Let’s Go! is all about.

So, if you’re new around here, hello! 👋 Meet the vans, get inspired and start thinking about where your next adventure might take you.

Meet Rosie. She’s ready when you are. 🚐❤️

If you’ve been following along for a while, you’ll probably have spotted Rosie on a few adventures already – and we’ve got some really exciting ones coming up too, but more on that later! 👀

With lots of new faces joining us recently, we thought it was time for a proper introduction.

Rosie is our automatic, 2021 VW camper, sleeping up to four with a double bed downstairs and space for two more in the pop-top. With luxurious tan leather seats and upholstery, she has everything you need to make life on the road easy – and comfortable.

Inside, Rosie has a stylish cream kitchen, fully equipped for everything from morning coffees to campsite dinners, plus plenty of storage, comfy seating for four and even solar power for those adventures that take you a little further off the beaten track.

And when you’re on the road? Automatic gears, adaptive cruise control, parking sensors and a reversing camera make getting there nice and easy too.

Basically, pack your bags, choose a destination and Rosie will take care of the rest. 🚐

What if your next camping trip felt a little more like a festival? 🚐🌿🎶

The Let’s Go family recently packed up Rosie, grabbed some friends and headed to Wild Canvas Camping for a few days of riverside camping with a festival spirit.

Think slow mornings, dips in the river, campfires, music, good food and plenty of time spent outside with friends. Basically, exactly what summer weekends were made for. ☀️

And one of the things we loved most? It feels like the kind of place that works for everyone. Come solo and find a little community, escape as a couple, get a group of friends together or bring the family for a few days of outdoor fun.

Rosie was very happy, pitched up, with the BBQ out and friends next door; what more could you need? We had such a lovely time exploring everything Wild Canvas has to offer. ❤️

While Katy prefers to stay behind the camera, she’s the one who makes sure every van is thoroughly deep-cleaned, inside and out, before each adventure begins.

One of our favourite things about campervan adventures is discovering those places that make you stop, take a deep breath and stay a little longer.

Whether you’re after a wild swim, a paddle, or simply somewhere beautiful to spend the day, these are a few of our favourite spots that are all an easy drive from London.
