Where have I been?!?!?!? 😅

Hard at work building an off-grid VW Transporter adventure van!

After months of radio silence, I’m finally back with my latest creation from BB Vans. This one is fully hand-built by me using beautiful reclaimed Welsh hardwood. Every piece of furniture was dimensioned on my big band saw and crafted right here in the workshop.

Here’s what she’s got:
✅ All hand-built reclaimed Welsh hardwood furniture
✅ Large pull-out bed drawer (super easy to use!)
✅ Double burner gas hob + sink
✅ Fresh & waste water tanks
✅ Toilet
✅ Fridge
✅ Microwave
✅ LED touch lights throughout
✅ High-speed USB charging ports
✅ 240v sockets
✅ Full Victron power system (DC/DC charger, solar MPPT, inverter)
✅ Fogstar Pro battery

The result? A sleek, compact, and seriously capable off-grid adventure van that’s ready to take you anywhere.

I’m really pleased with how she turned out, and the customer is too.

Customer requested diesel heater blend in with the van, and that they must still be able to store their deck chairs behind the drivers seat!!

Also, the panel on the rock and roll bed is kicking around in the boot, can I reattach it so it doesn't keep falling off?

Done 👍

2kw AutoTerm diesel heater plumbed into the fuel tank ✅
100Ah Fogstar Lithium battery to keep the lights on ✅
Nice little box to enclose the heater and allow for the chairs to stay in their special spot ✅
Off with the magnets and velcro and on with some little toggles to hold the kick panel in place ✅

A happy customer.

Old school!

Customer was having problems with their leisure battery not keeping up with their fridge. They also wanted a diesel heater installed so the electrics needed to be inspected.

Safe to say, if you have this device charging your leisure battery, it's time for an upgrade!!

Oops!!

It's Ben here... I haven't posted any updates in a while! Two things to know about me, I'm a one-man-band, and I'm not very good with social media!

Still here though! Plenty going on! I've been extremely lucky to have the trust of some new customers with brand new vans, I've got the privilege of working on a nice new 2024 Transporter, and it's 'brother', a nice new Transit Custom.

First job is always to get panels and fans on the roof. The grey custom isn't having any fan which means I get to go crazy and squeeze one of the biggest solar panels I can fit up there! 400w of solar on a little Custom isn't a bad setup 😁

Give me a call or message for all your campervan needs. Electric upgrades, diesel heaters, woodwork, windows, and everything in between.
