Massive congratulations to Karina who passed her driving test ⭐️FIRST⭐️ time with me, today at Currie DTC 🚗🎉

Despite the awful weather, a day fit for ducks 🦆🌧️, and the drama of getting her provisional licence back after it was left in her mum’s car at the airport just in time for today ✈️😂, she kept her cool and passed with only 1 driving fault 👏

Even better, the examiner commented on what a lovely drive it was - Well Done!

✔ Check mirrors
✔ Adjust speed early
✔ Select the correct position
✔ Look and assess

Good preparation makes driving much easier.

Not quite how I expected my Thursday to go. Today’s lesson ended with us being hit and shunted by a lorry… safe to say the Clio took one for the team 😢🚗💥

Thankfully everyone is okay, which is the main thing. A massive shoutout to my learner today, who handled a really scary situation amazingly well. Something like this can easily knock confidence, especially when you’re learning to drive, but she stayed calm and dealt with it brilliantly. I really hope she comes back from this stronger because none of this was her fault, and she should be proud of how she handled herself 💪

I’ll be spending the next few days sorting insurance, paperwork and hopefully a courtesy car ASAP. I’ll keep everyone updated regarding lessons 🚗🙌🏻🙏🏻

🚨 TEST SWAPS UPDATE 🚨

From tomorrow, instructors will no longer be allowed to carry out driving test swaps on behalf of pupils.

Only pupils themselves can complete a test swap through the DVSA.

Different test centre from our local one, but that didn’t stop her smashing it with only 1 driving fault 👏

Even better, compliments from the examiner who said it was a “very comfortable drive” — Well done!
