A rumbling noise coming from your wheels? Don't ignore it! 🔧🚗

This Audi S3 recently came into our workshop after the customer reported an unusual rumbling noise.

The issue was traced to a worn rear wheel bearing, which we replaced to get the vehicle back on the road.

Wheel bearings play an important role in allowing your wheels to rotate smoothly, and when they start to wear, they can cause humming, grinding or rumbling noises that often get louder with speed.

A look at some of our day-to-day work here at M&C Autos🔧

Light commercial vehicles are a big part of what we do, helping local businesses keep their vans maintained and on the road.

This Ford Transit Custom was recently in with us for a full vehicle service and inspection, along with a brake fluid change and new rear brake pads.

A slightly different one from us this week… and definitely one to watch with the sound ON! 🔊🏁

Stuart recently celebrated his 40th birthday with a pretty special weekend, and of course, it involved cars!

There’s plenty of M&C history in this video too. The green Mk1 Es**rt is a car we built around four years ago, the white Mégane is another car we’ve built and continue to work on, and the blue Chevette is Stuart’s own - built at home on his mum and dad’s driveway 15 years ago.

Cars aren’t just what we work on - they’re a huge part of what we love outside the workshop too.

We’ll let the engines provide the soundtrack for this one… 🔊🔥

A misfire that didn’t take long to diagnose… 👀🔧

This 2015 Mercedes CLA 1.6 came in with an engine misfire on cylinder 3. After a brief inspection, the cause quickly became clear.

It’s always a pleasure to work on a classic like this, especially one that has been so well maintained. A lovely, clean example that’s clearly been looked after over the years. 🔧✨
