We had a Lexus in the other week. They had fitted a non oem catalytic converter to there car as Lexus wanted £1500
Then the ECU didn’t recognise the catalytic converter and threw up codes and an engine management light
They had taken it to a couple of places inc Lexus and nobody would help apart from a OEM cat.

They called us and we have sorted the issue and there now back up and running smoothly

Giving him 230hp and a huge 520nm

He had recently bought it and wasn’t happy with the way it ran. It had a poor quality map on previous with lowered rail pressure and an awful over fuelling smell.

He’s happy with his new stage 1 with EGR disable
