Morning everyone,
This may come as a shock to some of you but for my own well-being it’s the right decision for me, just over two years ago I started my little business venture & for the majority of that time it’s been a dream.
Unfortunately the daily commute of almost 60 miles coupled with the everyday life stresses of running a business, trying to help with the school runs, trying to be present at home as much as possible & generally trying to be a human being means that I’ve been burning the wick at both ends & the stresses have almost put me at breaking point mentally.
Over the Christmas period I’ve had time to reflect on life & this career is no longer what I want, the motor trade on the whole isn’t the same trade that I came into almost 19 years ago & I no longer want the stresses & strains of it all so with immediate effect I’m no longer taking bookings.
I’m very happy with what I have achieved in the last couple of years & I thank you all for your support that you have given me, my family & my little business because without the support from you all it wouldn’t of been possible.
Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be selling courtesy cars & the workshop equipment so keep an eye out for those if you’re in the market.
Once again, thank you all for your support & going forwards I’ll be looking for a local driving job (upto 3.5T unless there’s a funded job for PSV/HGV) so if anyone knows of any driving jobs taking on early Feb then please let me know.
This is the right decision for me but it is truly heartbreaking as the sacrifices that I’ve made, the sacrifices that Naomi & Tommy have also made break my heart as they’ve backed me, believed in me & as a family we’ve gone without when it’s been tough.
