Attended a customer today who had concerns due to their brake warning light being on the dash.

After doing some investigating i found the problem to be the brake fluid being low. Fluid was leaking out from the o/s/r brake drum, I then proceeded to strip down both the brake and drum down which then resulted in me also finding the o/s/r wheel cylinder to be leaking and it had contaminated the rear brake shoes.

I replaced rear wheel cylinder, brake shoes and bleed of brake system.

They are now all back up and running another happy customer.

Been out to a customer today.

They complained about their car “running rough” and misfiring.

After investigating their concerns, I was able to put it down to a spark plug needing to be replaced and low compression on their 4th cylinder.

I recommended that the customer had further diagnostic checks, this would allowed me to take the cylinder head off and do a more in depth inspection.

After doing this I could also see that the valve was broken for the said cylinder.

Spark plug was replaced, cylinder head skimmed, cleaned and a new valve fitted.

Another happy customer now sent on their way!

Been out to a customer today, they complained their car went BANG! Then it wouldn’t start!

After investigating I discovered that this was down to the turbo shaft snapping which was causing the loud noises, excessive oil consumption and preventing the car from starting!

Another happy customer sent on their way after having a new turbo fitted.

Just another job I have recently done; Had a call out to a customer who complained of intermittent issues with the fan inside the car.

After investigating the customers concerns
I came across a previous repair on the said fan that was not up to the appropriate standards meaning the wires were not connected properly causing the wire to burn out.

Another happy customer sent on their way after having this all fixed to standard now.

Last Friday had a little wiring fault on a Alfa Romeo, alternator charging but battery light still on the dash. Was traced down to corroded and broken signal wire from the alternator to ECU. Repaired wiring now all sorted and another happy customer.
