🚐 Happy Friday everyone! What a week it’s been at the workshop! 👏

Here’s what we’ve been busy with this week:

🔧 Repairing a van conversion and replacing overhead lockers after some previous poor workmanship.
🚐 A Pilote motorhome is in with us for a leaking overhead window – the replacement is now on its way from France. 🇫🇷
🎉 Another deposit secured on one of our beautiful low-mileage VW T6.1s.
💙 Working on a bespoke commercial conversion for a charity, creating a unique mobile event hub.
🪵 Furniture has arrived ready for another exciting conversion starting next week!

Every week is different, and that’s exactly why we love what we do. Whether it’s repairs, custom conversions, or helping someone create their dream camper, we’re here to make it happen.

Does anyone else feel like the weeks just disappear? 😅 I genuinely had to scroll back through my camera roll to remember what we’ve been up to this week!

Here’s a little recap…

🚐 We collected a van after fitting a new roof lining and fixing a leaking Maxxair fan.

🪟 A returning customer came back for another window installation, along with the supply and fitting of a Fabworx TUV-tested bed.

💧 Another returning customer had a frustrating water leak. After investigating, we found the original installation was missing pipe inserts on the hot water system. Over time, the pipe had deformed, preventing a proper seal and causing the leak. We also replaced a leaking push-fit connector on the water pump, so everything is now sorted.

⚡ We also had a customer whose fridge had stopped working. After tracing the fault, we discovered some rather dangerous wiring behind the installation. We fitted a new fuse board, made everything safe, and got the fridge back up and running.

✂️ We’ve got one more van in this afternoon for curtains, and then it’s time for a short break!

Although the workshop will be closed, I’ll still be available to answer messages, book future work, or chat about the vans we currently have for sale. Feel free to get in touch.

Another busy week in the workshop! 🚐🔧

Every week is different, and that’s exactly why we love what we do.

This week we’ve:
✅ Fitted a diesel heater… on one of the hottest days of the year! 🥵🔥
✅ Tracked down and repaired a leaking roof vent, including fabricating the missing support frame, resealing it properly, and replacing the damaged roof lining.
✅ Replaced a leisure battery.
✅ Built a bespoke table for a van that didn’t have one.

We also welcomed another potential customer to view one of our campervans. Our current stock is getting plenty of attention, so if you’ve been thinking about owning a camper, now could be the perfect time to get in touch before they’re snapped up.

It’s always satisfying seeing a build come together from an empty shell into a functional living space. Huge week in the workshop, and we’re really pleased with how this one turned out. A couple more jobs to sort, then it’s handover time! 🚐💪
